'Alive isn't sad... - It's sad when it's over'
I've been wanting to paint this scene for ages now, and it's one of my first proper non-Sherlock paintings so it took me quite a long time, but it's just such a beautiful episode. I added a quick painting I did of the tardis/wormhole in the background just because I thought it looked interesting (but I have a version saved without that, if anyone thinks it would look better).
Painted with my wacom tablet in CS5.

Idris: Seven hundred years and finally he asks.
The Doctor: What do I call you?
Idris: What do you call me? Sexy.
The Doctor: Only when we're alone.
Idris: We are alone.
The Doctor: Oh. Come on then, Sexy.
Love the piece! Great job! And Congrat's on the DailyD! Much Deserved!
Such a great part of DW to paint! So sad but funny and happy at the same time! Love this!
